Part of my 2025 “BrAvery” Collection, this piece is inspired by the unimaginable strength, resilience, and bravery of our 3-year-old daughter, Avery, as she underwent brain surgery this spring for a tumor. Her spirit through it all has blown us away, and we’re beyond relieved and grateful for the positive outcome—her tumor was fully removed, and it was benign.
This piece is a reflection of the strength we felt from the community that surrounded us – family, friends, nurses, doctors, and even strangers – lifting our spirits, covering us in prayer, and delivering good news when we needed it most. In a time when everything could have felt like it was crumbling, we felt held—supported, cared for, and pieced together by the collective love and hope that carried us through.
