Twenty Two West is rooted in the belief that the things we surround ourselves with should bring us joy — a philosophy that feels right at home at Lizzie Selle Studio.
Founded by artist Mary Hamby, Twenty Two West takes its name from the address of the home where she grew up and first discovered a love of creating, inspired by the women who came before her. Today, Mary and her team create artisan jewelry and home décor designed in direct contrast to a world of mass production.
Working with clay, fibers, threads and other tactile materials, each piece is thoughtfully formed, fired, combed, woven and finished by hand. The result is a collection filled with color, texture, personality and the beautiful evidence of the human hands that made it.
At its heart, Twenty Two West shares a belief I hold deeply at Lizzie Selle Studio: art brings joy to our lives. Whether we’re wearing it, sharing it, or bringing it into our homes.
