EARTHENjoy was founded in 2013 by Omaha clay artist Joy O’Conner, whose love of clay began in childhood and was later nurtured by her mother-in-law, a potter of more than 40 years. What started with a tiny kiln and small-scale jewelry, ornaments, trinkets, and planters quickly grew into a beloved collection of handcrafted ceramics.
Now based in Minneapolis, Joy creates her work in limited batches, allowing her to focus on more detailed, sculptural pieces while staying deeply connected to the handmade process. Her work celebrates the beauty, character, and joy of objects shaped by hand, each piece thoughtfully made to bring a little more art into everyday life.
