Jess Root

Chicago artist Jess Root creates work that mirrors her daily life—colorful, messy, and full of beauty found in everyday moments. A graduate of Hope College with a degree in Art and Education, Jess is a mom to three adventurous kids and often paints alongside them in their Western Springs home. Her daily painting practice is both a creative ritual and a source of peace, grounding her amidst the joyful chaos of motherhood. Jess hopes her art brings a little burst of joy and color wherever it lands.
