The "Joy in Motion" series was born from a collector’s request to expand my "Joyful Connections" gestures into larger formats for a special commission, pushing me to explore new tools and techniques. Created during a time of transition—fall’s arrival and my daughter’s start of preschool prep—the collection mirrors the mix of discomfort and excitement that comes with change. It captures movement’s dynamic energy while symbolizing growth and beauty in both art and life.
