Karyn finds inspiration in both the vibrant landscapes from her time in California and the gritty scenery she saw while commuting on the Metra to Chicago. For her, the horizon symbolizes a dream within, expressed through bright, vivid colors. Her marks and brush strokes represent the bold, messy leaps we take towards our goals, while the color blocks capture those quiet moments of contentment along the way.
